"Pink Rose Health" is a digital platform which caters to various health problems faced by females in her lifetime from puberty till menopause holistically via our trustworthy, non-judgmental and reliable team of doctors and professionals".

In India, finding a gynaecologist who is empathetic, non-judgemental and won’t ask if you’re ‘married or not’ — the secret code for sexual activity — can often be a challenge. And that’s a problem that Dr. Alpana Gupta wants to solve with her ‘Pink Rose Health’ platform.

Dr. Alpana Gupta, a Gynaecologist by training and after treating more than 5 lakh female patients in Government Medical College/hospitals, private hospitals, she realised that women in India were not fully addressing their health concerns. When it comes to women’s health in India, it’s not just a clinical problem that we are solving; it’s also a cultural problem.

Our goal is not to be just another health aggregator where women are just trying to find a doctor. It is rather to take a holistic approach to women’s health online. The difference lies with the company’s “healthcare protocols, processes, and team”.

But given that this aims to be a full-stack solution, Pink Rose Health has also in process of tying up with multiple accredited labs across the country to ensure that patients can get their testing done post consultation. Other services such as HPV vaccination, cervical cancer screening (PAP Smear Testing), Breast cancer screening etc. will also be added.

There is a lot of standardised packages that you see online. But oftentimes, these are not really customised to a patient’s clinical history and healthcare priorities. We at Pink Rose Health, customise package as per patient’s requirement.

We have six business verticals. We do mid-to-long-term programmes where women interact with a team of doctors for a specific health goal. We also do health coaching, which is a more one-on-one value proposition.

Pink Rose Health is offering services in six following verticals:

1. PCOS: PCOS is a hormonal disorder causing irregular periods, infertility, mood swings, stress, anxiety, depression, excessive hair growth, acne, weight gain, obesity, anxiety or depression, heart diseases and diabetes. Three main features are peripheral cysts in ovaries, high levels of male hormones and irregular periods. Around 20 per cent female are suffering from PCOS.

2. Infertility: It is inability to conceive, the causes may include inadequate level of certain hormones and trouble with ovulation in women, blocked fallopian tubes, abnormalities in cervix or uterus, having irregular periods, PCOS, past pelvic infections, endometriosis etc.

3. Pregnancy Care: Couple needs to take many important steps when getting ready to conceive a child. It is very important that both partners are prepared both physically and emotionally for this life-enhancing event. Pre pregnancy care, pregnancy care and post pregnancy care all are equally important.

4. Menopause: A natural transition where women go from having normal menstrual periods to no periods at all. Menopause is the time in a woman’s life when the function of the ovaries stops and she can no longer become pregnant.

5. Menstrual Health: Menstruation is a normal part of being a healthy female of reproductive age. Many different reasons can cause menstrual disorders, such as hormone imbalances, genetic aspects, clotting disorders, and pelvic diseases or it can be for unknown reasons. There are many different types of disorders.

6. Sexual Health: It may include vaginal atrophy, vaginismus, vaginal infections, problems with the cervix like infections, problems with the uterus like fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, ectopic pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, injury to the vulva or vagina, skin disorders affecting the genital area, psychological issues.

About Dr. Alpana Gupta

Dr. Alpana Gupta is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist (Obs & Gyn) in Navi Mumbai and has a rich knowledge and experience in her field. With her vast knowledge and experience that she has garnered through tough working conditions, is now helping treating and comforting thousands of patients. Some of the specialized services provided by the doctor are: Female Infertility Treatment, High-Risk Pregnancy Care, Obstetrics / Antenatal Care and Pregnant Women Counselling, Menstrual Disorders, Ovarian Cyst, Menopausal disorders. Woman reproductive health, menstrual cycle, Cancer Detection (Breast), Pap smear, UTI, premenstrual symptoms, woman sexual counselling etc..

She is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with rich experience in relevant surgical and medical procedures and management position. Adept at prevention, diagnosis and treatment of gynaecological and obstetrical disorders.

She has treated many PCOS/PCOD patients and many of her PCOS patients who suffered from Infertility have conceived by her treatment.

She believes in giving back to the society too since her college days. She has conducted many free medical camps and doesn’t lose an opportunity to do so even now.
She passed her M.B.B.S from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, Manipal University and Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics (DGO) from Madras Medical College, Chennai. She has also worked as lecturer at Government Medical College in Uttar Pradesh.

VOLUNTARY COMMUNITY INVOLMENT: VOLUNTARY COMMUNITY INVOLMENT She was an active member of HELPLINE and SANJEEVANI-a voluntary student organization of Kasturba Medical College, MANGALORE helping poor patients of Govt. Wenlock District Hospital and Govt. Lady Goshen Hospital.
